The Whole Me…

I am going to start posting some of my artwork, jewelry designs and photographs with you all. Let you in to my life so” Who I Really Am” is always here. Some of you already know these things, but for those of you that are new to my blog, there may be a suprise or two. Maybe I will surprise myself. This kind of activity spurs more creativity in me and BOY do I need that right now.My NANOWRIMO Novel deadline is MIDNIGHT. I need 2000 more words to meet my mark. I can do it!!
I practice a program called Artist’s Way and am an avid student of A Course in Miracles. Here is an 18 minute MP3 Gratitude meditation:
http://www.manifestlife.com/gifts/mattc.html

It is very nice, and free to share.
I have a new post on The Church of the Great Oval about NASCAR and my Daughter. I did a big booboo. Funny
And now…I must return to the Novel…2000 to go.

Tribute to My Daughter Alaina…I love you more than NASCAR, Earl, Lucky Charms and the Cat….and petroglyphs.

I am in Deep doodoo with one of my daughter’s , and I am making an attempt to rectify the situation.
First let me explain why…
On Thanksgiving I published a few my Gratitude photos. I am an avid photographer. I have several camera’s that I use, and 5 different photo programs. I love them all. ANYWAY…I was messing around with Picasa that day. I had downloaded it a long time ago to get the Hello program for my blog. It makes posting a lot easier when I am traveling and phone blogging etc….etc….
To make a long story short, I threw together the montage and it looked ok to me. I didn’t pay much attention to it when I published it. If you take a look at it there is a very black picture amongst them all. That is where the “My Mom is in deep Doodoo” story begins.
My 3rd daughter (has enough middle child syndrome going on already) and says:
” Mom…I caught up on your blog today.”
Me: Oh! Great! Thanks. What did you think?”
My daughter: Well…( this little gal can get the snootiest voice you ever heard) I think I am really p#$#ed. I guess your grateful for everyone and everything but ME. Lucky Charms and Earl and Tony Stewart rate higher than I do. THANKS! That’s real NICE!”
Me: What are you talking about? And you can change your attitude with me, right NOW.
My daughter: WHATEVER!! and she hangs up on me. Slams it actually.

I have always thought she was probably a Princess in a past life. She has been a little more high maintenance than the other girls since the moment I conceived her. At times she shows Queenoftheworldrevolvesaroundme” symptoms. She wasn’t born into royalty and she has been ticked off about it, on and off since the day she was born. She is an adult now, pretty down to earth and realizes that she is a mere mortal like the rest of us, most of the time. Having children introduced her to Reality. She has a daughter that is as demanding and Princess wanna be Queen as she was. **lol** (evil Grama laugh)** Once in a while the my old daughter, the Evil Child Queen rears her head. I figured it was one of those days. PMS or something.
I went online to look at the blog again. The black picture is where my daughter’s picture was supposed to be.
So… I am making amends for the accidental
” Glory be! Your not in the Grateful pic’s, Are ya? “.
I have explained the tech issue. She has forgiven me.
I Love YOU Alaina!! You have grown into a beautiful woman and mother.
You do deserve to be treated like a Princess. You are already a Queen in your own right, in the Eyes of the wonderful man who loves you, your son and your daughter.
Believe it or not…the #1 #88 fan says you got that Queen heritage temperament from your Mom….Kisses and Hugs.

Tribute to Tony continued…or I am easily distracted by Peanut Buster Parfaits.

Maybe the DQ Angel from long ago is Tony’s Guardian Angel…

Earlier this evening…
Tony Stewart on MRN Radio interview with Eli Gold: ” I’m not trying to change my image. A lot of my fans like the Bad Boy image.”

That’s right…and now that he has developed some inner sensitivity, he will attract even more loyalty.

Tony refers to chocolate milkshakes from his hometown Dairy Queen just about every interview I have heard or read for awhile now.
He either :
a. Has developed a chocolate addiction
b. Has developed an eating disorder and is obsessed with DQ food
c. REALLY likes the owner considering he gives him so much free advertising ( trading for milkshakes?)
d. All of the above.
**lol**jestajestin…

Tony has a zest for life again…you can hear it in his voice, see it in his face and in his eyes. Ok…well…maybe you can see it in his belly a little too.

Seriously, there is a long history between Tony and Bob Franke, the owner of the downtown Dairy Queen in Columbus. He was Tony’s first go-cart sponsor at age 9.

Tony’s roots run deep. He’s came to peace with his past and it shows.
He deserves to be a little fat and sassy. He’s earned it all the way around.

I have an issue or two with Peanut Buster Parfaits and Hot Fudge Banana Milkshakes from our local DQ myself.

I better run and go get both.

No. I won’t share.

Tributes to Tony Stewart or… why Tony Stewart is "My Driver."

In honor of Champion’s Week, I will be posting some of my favorite articles, posts, exerpts, quotes and pictures of Our Boy Tony Stewart.

The State 11/18/2005 The answer man at Gibbs speaks:

Questions for Mr. Gibb’s…the younger.

Question: You hear how much fun Stewart is away from the track. Can you give examples of that?
Answer: Tony is funny. He’s quick-witted. He’s all the time pulling practical jokes. A lot of times, he’ll take these little butane torches and go up behind somebody and singe the back of their pants leg. He loves that. He hasn’t done that to me, but I know to keep an eye on him.
He’s serious about his racing, but he’s learned to enjoy other stuff, too.”

Earnhardt trees to cover big area

This is really pretty cool, I think. Being the tree hugger I am, I might even order some seeds. I guess I never would have tied environmentalism and the Earnhardt’s together.
Charlotte Observer 11/27/2005 Earnhardt trees to cover big area
I guess I never would have tied environmentalism and the Earnhardt’s together. Don’t get me wrong here. I just need to learn more about them I guess. I apologize for my ignorance
Antonette and all other Dale Earnhardt fans… I need to spend a little more time on your site, I guess.

NASCAR Fans …UNITE!! 81 and a half more days…
It’s Champions Week in NYC.
I am lurking around trying to find Tony’s TV interviews…I wonder if he will be on The View?

What would Star ask him?
Star: Congratulations Tony! You were NASCAR’s BAD BOY. Your team set up an intervention with you and told you how your actions affected them. How has that REALLY affected you? Is this change for real? What has moving back to your home town REALLY done for you?
Tony: Well, I…
Star: (interrupts Tony) Now tell usare you on psycho-tropic drugs?
An anti -depressant perhaps? Do you have any issues with Post- Concussional Syndrome? We all know that problems with impulse control and angry outbursts are signs of depression. Closed Head Injuries. All of your symptoms could stem from big bumps on the head. OR …have you moved on with your life and found a new girlfriend after that devasting break up several years ago with what was her name?
Tony: (laughs in that snide, cute way that he can) I credit Zippy and my team for everything. Without them I am nothing.
Star: (concerned look on her face) ZIPPY? OH! I read about that somewhere! Your monkey!! **lol** and your team of greyhounds…
Tony (the patient angel that he is) looks at Star like this:

Merideth interrupts for a commercial break…
Maybe he will be on that other show that is on at the same time Regis and Kathy Lee..I mean Kelly RIPHAHAHAHAHA. Can he run from building to buiding and be on time? Will he change his shirt in between or wear the same one on every show?
OMG!! I cannot believe I just wrote that…or even thought it.

I have been wondering if I was my losing mind after the Hysteria-ectomy I had a few months back. The Hot Flashes are frying my brain.
I am not wondering any more after that.
I am.

Magic Children

The neatest thing happened this morning. Dale is very ill today with side effects from the medicine that masquerades as poison. Today is the worst day he has had.
My youngest daughter has (thank the Universe) finally left her husband. She took her Power back and left…I am so proud of her. She rented a little house, took my granddaughter Paige’s things and said ” I am outta here” after months of trying in a no go, not healthy for her or Paige situation. She gave it her all. I am proud of her for giving every shot she could and proud of her for calling it quits, no matter what it took. She left everything and doesn’t care. She is filing her divorce papers tomorrow.
She called me this morning to see if I had any extra pots, pans, etc. that she could have so she didn’t have to spend any extra money. I gathered up some stuff for her…a goody bag of dishes, dish soap, towels, T.P., shampoo, silverware and cooking utensils, extra blankets, sheets and pillows. (Guess what she’s getting for Christmas?)
When they got here , Dale was finally asleep, so I ran the goody bag(s) out to the car. Paige said ” Is Dale-papa sick?” She is 4 by the way. I said “Yes, honey he is still sick but he gonna get well again.” She replied ” I need to go touch his forehead and he will be well Grama.”
I said okaaaaay …I bet your touch will make him feel better…and hauled her in the house. She went over to where Dale was lying on the couch and told him” I am making you all well and layed her little hand on his forehead. She took her hand off, said “I think I will do it again” layed her hand on his head again and said “I’m done! Your all better now.” It was precious. She skipped out of the house all happy.
It lit him up like a light.
For now anyway… his pain is gone. Interesting, huh?
I think we are capable of so much when we are children. We lose that along the way. Forget. Children can remind us to remember…again.

Free Speech and Interpretation or Blog Killers on the Loose.

I want to clarify what I believe to be the reason my favorite Moron Hosts will say they beheaded and killed then cremated me and Babs and Denise and who knows how many others by now….. before they post their explanation, if they ever do.

Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust. May my posts and comments Rest in Peace with Jimi… because they are gone (at least to me) forever.
Amen.

Anyone who reads my blogs know that I rarely, if ever swear in my posts… Never on The Church of the Great Oval and rarely on the beheaded dead and cremated On a Quest and The Church of the Great Oval #2 formerly published on the blog host that does not allow Free Speech or Artistic Freedom through Photography.

I was appalled at the fact that Bab’s and Denise’s blogs were cremated. Yes… they frequently posted passionate expletives, and push it to the edge photo’s and polls etc. So do many other Bloggers at that same host. The only difference between Bab’s and Denise and the other Blogger’s that post the type of “humorous, sometime a little racy” posts is Bab’s and Denise were also very vocal in voicing displeasure at the problems within the new owners infrastructure and lack of professionalism. Here are some of the frustrations expressed by many, which began this great drama.

Here are a couple interesting posts from the new owner of “Let’s run the site like NAZI’S”:
On Censorship.

** I want to note I was one of those people who wrote him nice e-mail and posted nice comments on his blog encouraging him to hang in there.
That this too will pass.**

On Professionalism:

“I just talked to Arthur, the former CB at Blogster and he swears that the speed and time out issues that we are seeing now were exactly the same under his regime. I would like to know from everyone if you had all of these speed and timeout issues prior to three weeks ago, because the site has not left Arthur’s server. We have done nothing to cause these problems. Its apparent to us that it is something Arthur has done and he is not being cooperative to get the speed fixed. I apologize for this.” Walleyeman posted 10/14/2005

So much for my favorite Walleye Man posts. I will save the best for last. On with the story…

My first thought was “Oh, it is just another tech issue.” I watched as comments began to stack up on the owners blog and on the new editors blog. All censored, with #### covering up the FUCK word. Then I noticed as I bounced back and forth reading those comments that some of those comments were disappearing minutes after they were posted. But only the comments that were “bad”. The naughty comments.
I then thought: “oh they don’t really have an actual human editor, it’s a bot.”
So I started fucking with the FUCK word. **(F.U.C.K. was an acronym for Focused Unaturally on Carnal Knowlege in patients mental hospital medical charts originally, by the way. The word did not exist prior to Freud.)
I found that if I mispelled it like fuk it would be in the comment. Okay, it’s a bot. *f*u*c*k* worked. Bot again.
The real question of the day was not answered yet. Still a mystery.
What happened to Babs and Denise?
I wrote several posts… something about “Where the FUCK ARE THEY AND WHAT IS THIS CENSORSHIP BULLSHIT?” and titled them something like FUCK FUCK FUCKITY FUCK and FUCK YOU FUKKING FUCKSTERS…and left a comment or two in the same light, posted a very artistic picture of a couple of penis’s tattooed like snakes and a bite me sammuch just to see if a bot was doing the editing or if a real human chickenshit ROBOT paid to delete person was actually reading the posts and comments.
WHAM!!! BAM!!! YOU’RE GONE!!! On a Quest was gone. All my comments were gone…all the links and comments on my blog buddies were gone. There WAS a real person reading comments and blogs and killing the bloggers who fussed. Get rid of the bad kids. Kick them out of the Club.
I “ran” as fast as I could to the COTOG2 blog and started notification of my buddies that they were going to kill me.
Posted a couple of “Fuck you farewell assholes, don’t anybody click on the Google ads and make these fuckers any more money, I wanted you to delete this blog along time ago any way and you said you couldn’t” Left a comment on the owner and editors ads with a lot of mispelled words like fuk ufukkincoksukinfuksticks or something like that and went out in a blaze of GLORY… in the middle of e-mailing Grumpy.
I imagine they will say I was harrasing them with bad typos, encouringing financial failure by telling people to boycott their Google ad’s, posted porn and objectionable and/or copyrighted material and therefore violated you know who’s the asshole’s user agreement ( I started blogging there when Arthur still had it) and they reserve the right to boot anyone off they want….etc….etc…
WHATEVER.
That leads me to post my very favorite Walleye Man “article”…

“I GET A HARD ON WHEN I TAKE MY MEDS”

“Right after I get my drug, I have a burst of energy, don’t want to sleep and usually get a hard on immediately as the drug is going into my veins. Sometimes I wonder what I would be like if I felt that great all the time- I think it scares me.” Tony Walleye 10/13/05

Well… now I have to tell you…that scares me a lot too.

Maybe those artsy fukity snakes belonged to him.

The ‘scopes for tomorrow:

Carl Edwards, born 15 August 1979
Theme: Small embarrassment and satisfying achievements

During this time your feelings make themselves more noticeable than usual – even small embarrassments become extremely uncomfortable. Therefore, if you should make any mistake today, you should not immediately accuse yourself for it, as it is probably not as serious as it seems This sensitivity, though, also gives you a good feel for the weaknesses and sensibilities of others, so that you can be very tactful and accommodating about them. In this way you encourage others to be open and also admit to their sore points. Your capacity for understanding and your readiness to take due account of personal traits, offers others enough security to trust you. This influence can bring with it a deeply satisfying, liberating experience; perhaps you will simply enjoy yourself with more gusto and freedom than usual and take pleasure in life. There may be a very meaningful encounter during this time – with your partner, someone close to you, or someone whom you have never met before. This encounter will be so deep and personal that you will have the opportunity to perceive and possibly even discuss things about yourself that you have preferred to suppress up to now, and not reveal to anyone. Thus, you have the chance to behave differently and, for once, to act out of character and acknowledge your injury or sensitivity, without having to fear being hurt or rejected once more.

Jeremy Mayfield, born 27 May 1969
Theme: Withdrawal and Mutual Support

This influence greatly stimulates your awareness, often in ways that are difficult to understand rationally. You are more sensitive to other people, and you seem to know how they feel intuitively. At the same time, you are more concerned with their benefit and less with your own. However, the ego-denying quality that enables you to identify with and help others may also manifest itself as a feeling of psychological weariness and inability to cope with the world. You may want to flee the everyday universe and go off into some private world of your own. A relatively harmless manifestation of this is daydreaming, but it can also surface as a full-scale effort to evade reality. If you need to withdraw from with the real world, you would get the most benefit from going off by yourself to meditate or contemplate. Today during the day you feel quite good, and you enjoy being with congenial people. Probably it would be best to be with old friends whom you know well and with whom you have already established strong emotional ties. But you will not be closed to new acquaintances. You make it clear to those around you that you are concerned for their welfare and that you will help them out if they ever need it. And the chances are that they feel the same way about you. This influence denotes a time when you and your friends support each other and feel that you belong together. This is a good time for any sort of group activity, because by working together you all will feel that it is a group effort from which everyone will benefit equally. And this is true.
Rusty Wallace, born 14 August 1956
Theme: Letting Go
This influence is good for all kinds of relationships in that all your contacts with others today during the day are warm and emotional. You do not choose superficial or formal contacts but instead desire to make a personal connection with everyone you meet. At the same time you feel a strong need to protect and nurture those whom you are close to. There is something of the maternal instinct in the way you care for others. You are also very sensitive to people’s emotional needs and wants, which enables you to respond to them at a very deep level of understanding. You will want to feel that you belong to any group that you associate with at this time. Fortunately you will also be able to make others feel that they belong with you. Your emotions are so much closer to the surface of your being that you can see them clearly. Today you may have to encounter and even oppose powerful pressures and forces exerted upon you, both from without and from within. The way you live and exert your energies will be tested today, perhaps forcing you to make radical changes in the areas of your life that you find are not working very well. The best way to use this influence is to let go of old patterns of behavior that today’s events demonstrate to be invalid. Holding on to them will only make your life more difficult, and if you give them up, you will have room for the positive creative changes that can take place now. Also you may have to contend with the breakdown of machines or situations. Anything that tends not to function very smoothly will work very poorly today. It is time to straighten out the situation or fix up the mechanical problem.

Greg Biffle, born 23 December 1969
Theme: Truly selfless Realignment
Under this influence you will be able to make changes in your immediate environment and to reform circumstances that you have been unhappily contending with for some time. You should seize any opportunities that come today to wield creative power for the good. However, it is very important to realize that these energies must be used for the improvement of all and the general good. Only incidentally should this power benefit your purely personal ends. Today you will probably have to confront the power of a group or collective that you deal with every day. But the results are not likely to be disadvantageous. You will have to realign your own intentions with the collective intentions of the group friends, neighbors or business associates but this will probably work to your advantage. Tonight you may spend considerable time daydreaming and not accomplish very much, but you will probably feel that it has been worth it. Dreams can be very refreshing to the spirit. At times we all need to withdraw a bit from the real world and encounter our inner selves. Now you have great sympathy for others. You are able to put yourself in their place and know exactly how you would feel in such a situation. You want to help others, with little thought of any benefit to yourself. This is one of those influences that makes you truly selfless, not merely in appearance. You may work to help people whom you consider less fortunate than yourself.

Ryan Newman, born 8 December 1977
Theme: Half-cocked
Today your attention will be focused on your work, profession or an important social duty that you must exercise. You have an opportunity to plan for the future in these areas of your life, and you will discuss with others your proper course of action. On the psychological level, this is a good time for being alone to reflect upon your long-range plans and how well you are fulfilling them. The Midheaven is strongly connected with the ego structure, and Mercury transiting it may indicate that you are dwelling upon your basic ego needs. This is especially important if by nature you are a meditative person, who wants to plan everything out before acting. A more extroverted person will go right out and talk to the world, even though that may mean going off half-cocked. New friends Under this influence you will seek an exciting break from your daily routine. You also attract new friends, because under this influence you show a fascinating, different side of your personality in a way that is winning and attractive. If a relationship that starts today does last more than a short time, it may revolutionize your life in some way. You will have to give your friend or lover great freedom, because there is no room for possessiveness or jealously in such a relationship. But if you can live in such an unstructured relationship, your understanding of life and of yourself will be greatly broadened. In most relationships people do not need to make as many demands upon each other as they do, mostly out of mutual insecurity. You are able to understand this at this time.

Mark Martin, born 9 January 1959
Theme: Subjective concerns
Tonight you would like to be at home with your immediate family. It is not a good time to have to put yourself on display, show off a talent or make a presentation to others. But if you can bring someone into your immediate circle, that is, into your most intimate environment, you will feel that it is easier to deal with him or her. You feel a strong need to be on “your own turf.” However, this influence does present an opportunity for you to be alone and to decide how you really feel about various matters. Your own feelings will be so strong and will influence your perception so much that it will be hard for you to escape them. Obviously your subjective concerns will take precedence over the demands of the outside world now, but this is as it should be. Today during the day your moods are quite deep and your emotions powerful. If you are aware, all your contacts at this time will show you how your emotional state affects other people. This can be either good or bad, but the growth in consciousness is usually very beneficial. One problem with this influence, however, is that you find it difficult to see any point of view but your own. Also, in dealings with a group there is a danger that you will feel that your own interests and desires are opposed to theirs, thus creating more potential for disagreement. You must learn to detach yourself somewhat in order to observe your feelings in action. Otherwise you will not be able afterwards to evaluate what you saw.

Matt Kenseth, born 10 March 1972
Theme: In good working order *** Clear and precise

This is a time of balance and equilibrium in your life, when all your affairs seem to run smoothly and without much effort on your part. It is a time when you can relax and take it easy for a while, knowing that your life is in good working order. This is also a time when growth seems to occur without much effort – growth in consciousness, in your profession, in your social life or wherever you feel that personal growth is important. But this is not really a time when you should just enjoy yourself. You should do that, to be sure, but you should also be examining your life to see what needs to be done. It is important to think this way now because the equilibrium that is characteristic of this period enables you to look about yourself with reasonable calm and detachment. It is much harder to achieve a perspective when you are in the middle of some major and possibly chaotic change. This is a good time to achieve perspective in all possible senses of the word. It is a good time for education, either formal or informal, for getting in touch with yourself through self-awareness studies, or for seeing the larger world through travel. Business transactions or negotiations are also favored now, and this is a good time to expand your business, as long as it is within reason. Legal affairs also usually run quite smoothly. Valid during several weeks: This is an excellent time for making plans, thinking things over or communicating in any way with others. Your thinking is clear and precise. This influence should also arouse your curiosity about the world around you and make you want to learn about a new subject, either through study or direct encounter. You might want to spend the day reading, or you might go out to a museum, art exhibit or other event that will stimulate your mind. Even a conversation with friends could be the source of a new idea that your mind can latch onto. This is a good time to get a point across to others, although your primary motive will probably be to communicate rather than to score debate points. Your attitude is much more objective than at other times, and you only want to get at the facts.

Jimmy Johnson, born 17 September 1975
Theme: The nasty little details…
This is a reflection of the deeper purpose of this influence , which is to penetrate below the surface layer of reality to the core of truth where all real knowledge is to be found. Use this energy to examine, scrutinize and probe everything that comes your way. It is not that you are suspicious but that you want to get at the total truth.
You are not concerned with the nasty little details, although you are aware of them. But you simply cannot see any point in paying any attention to them. At times this influence indicates self- righteousness and smug arrogance, as if you considered yourself as the embodiment of social truth and wisdom. This attitude may not be entirely conscious on your part, but it may be subtly evident in your phrasing or in an unspoken attitude toward others. Be careful with your ego as this may be your downfall.

Tony Stewart, born 20 May 1971
Theme: Realignment-Cautious Continuity
Tonight you may feel like being alone with your thoughts and feelings. Your mood is not usually bad or depressed, you simply desire to be calm and reflective. But you are probably in the mood to celebrate all of the achievement in your life so far. You have earned it. Your life has changed for the better. You prefer the company of sincere people, if any, and you want the conversation to be about important topics and fun. Under this influence you may feel the need to consult someone whose higher vantage point you respect. You are able to balance your emotional needs with your sense of duty and obligation. While you are aware of your feelings, you do not let them overwhelm you. In all proceedings you are thrifty and careful. You are also very careful and thorough in your approach to any kind of work now. It is not likely that you will have to do any task over, nor will anyone else have to clean up after you.

As above, so below.

NASCAR Tis’ the End of the Season.

On the Final lap…Smoke and Rusty are ahead of the others by 2 seconds….They race neck and neck toward the finish line and Tony waves and nods in respect…backs off the pedal… and Rusty wins his last race by a car length.
The crowd roars and rises in a standing ovation as Rusty takes his Victory lap with the checkered flag and runs in to the wall. He climbs out of the wrecked #2 car and shouts:
“Just kidding!!”.
He then jogs into Victory Lane where he and Tony bow Tibetan style to each other and then spray Miller Beer all over.
Miller Beer announces Free Miller Beer for every one in the US for the rest of the day.
Home Depot gives away free ladders for the rest of the day in celebration of Tony’s Cup Championship.
Crown Royal pays for all taxi rides anywhere if intoxication and belligerence are involved.
In the meantime:
Kurt Bisch get’s too drunk sitting at home regretting his actions and watching football because he CHOSE not to go to the Race and hand the Championship Flag over to Tony.
He calls a taxi to have them take him to Harrah’s on Crown Royal’s tab.
Crown Royal tells all cab company’s to bill it to Miller.
Busch orders a free Miller Lite (he is small, he’s a Lite-weight) at Harrah’s and the bartender says:
“Sorry Buddy…you’re cut off. Nada…Adios Amigo. Yer outta here.”
Busch gets mad and holler’s “Your just picking on me cuz your a Jeff Gordon fan…uh I mean a ROBBY Gordon fan.”
Bartender calls the Las Vegas NV cops.
Busch screams “Don’t you know who I am? You wimps !” as Wayne Newton walks by.
Newton calls Security. Security tackles Busch and beat him up, saying “He was resisting and being disrespectful to Mr. Newton.
LVPD arrest Busch for reckless endangerment and Public Intoxification.
Mr. Newton files a civil Libel and Defamation of Character suit against Kurt, seeking $100 Million in damages.
Las Vegas doesn’t want Kurt to associate his name with Las Vegas any longer and seeks to ban him from the city and Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Maricopa County changes Kurt’s court date to the day of the awards ceremony and throws the book at him, sentencing him to 2 days in jail and escorts him from the courtroom to the jail tents in handcuffs.
He is given a sandwich to hold him before he has to break rocks.

Poor Kurt…he just can’t win…
Maybe he needs a Karma list like Earl.

Race to the Chase and the Weather…

There is a 30 percent chance of rain, and the probability could increase before the green flag falls. But since Homestead-Miami Speedway has lights, any rain simply can be waited out.

The South is not just about NASCAR.
Greensboro, North Carolina has got some bigger (or smaller depending on how you look at it) issues.
I feel bad, yet helpless to do anything.
When I feel this helpless, I just need to escape. Hide.
I think I will go watch The Apprentice.

Bill Rancic always cheers me up.

I will be right back…went to see what Mr. Sun is doing.
I haven’t went to see him for awhile and I’ll bet he is missing me.
Or maybe…not.
I’d better remind him that NASCAR Season is nearly over and I have more time to stalk him again…and refer other depressed NASCAR fans to him to lurk and peep…and learn his theme song .
It will give us something to do during the LONGGGGGG winter days and nights.
We can sing to each other.

Clance – I’m not sure where you got your information that the Kurt
Busch Championship Banner was not going to be put up at HMS, but I want you to know that the Banner is up, has been up, and will stay up through
our event weekend just like every other past champions banner is
represented at HMS. I hope your planning to attend our races this weekend so
you can check out the 2004 Championship Banner yourself.

Thanks for the inquiry,

I am wondering why Homestead -Miami Speedway had made the decision to cancel the unveiling of the 2004 Nextel Cup Championship banner. I am one of the biggest Busch Basher’s out there, even I feel this took the Busch Bashing WAY TOO FAR! He EARNED that Championship in 2004. He has and will continue to pay the immediate consequences of his actions in the media, the courts and through the added difficulties of gaining more fans and sponsorships. I am not and never will be a Busch fan. I think he is a total jerk BUT …I am disgusted that he has to be humiliated further by the decisions made during championship week at Homestead. It is flat out wrong.
That banner most certainly should be unveiled and hung PROUDLY.
This is beyond vindictive and far below the same standards that NASCAR expects Kurt Busch to uphold. There is something very wrong with this picture.
It is blatant crucifiction.

The Busch saga gone too far…NOT COOL.

Track Officials Call Off Unveiling of Kurt Busch’s BannerSuspended Driver Was Supposed to Be Honored for 2004 Championship
The officials at Homestead-Miami Speedway have canceled the unveiling Tuesday of his 2004 Nextel Cup championship banner. Kurt Busch was supposed to be at a party Tuesday night to kick off the week’s activities leading up to the Ford 400 on Sunday. Busch’s banner was already on display behind the grandstand, along with banners honoring other winners of NASCAR’s top championship. Greg Biffle was set to replace his former teammate at the party Tuesday night to kick off the week’s activities.
Now I think that is taking things WAY TOO FAR. I am sticking up for Busch here. I will be emailing and screaming as loudly and quickly about this as I did when he got popped.
He earned that 2004 Championship. That is his and his alone forever and no one has the right to take that away. Just as his actions were not acceptable, this is not acceptable.
Enough is Enough.
Start calling…jam the lines email over and over .ect.ect.
That banner should be PROUDLY diplayed and he should not be being replaced with Biffle in “pretend” traditional Kick- off. I am so TICKED. Here are the addresses, emails and phone number you need. Jam up those ticket phone# with complaints. Money Talks and when Money lines are disrupted…things can happen. It’s crappy there is not a lot of time but….voices are still heard…

NASCAR by Wilshire Cologne Spray 2 oz. The perfect racy scent!

I smelled this at a truckstop on the way out of Phoenix. It has the perfect mixed aroma of burnt rubber, fuel fumes, sweat and beer.
Just what I want the #1 #88 fan to smell like. He can give up the Polo and the Obsession and the Old Spice deoderant. The smells that I love…that drive me crazy.
Just so he can have a concoction that a crazy person mixed up so they could join the NASCAR bandwagon.
I wonder if NASCAR knows about it? I doubt it. It doesn’t cost enough.

This is in no way an advertisement that is endorsed or implied as a decent product by The Church of the Great Oval.

NASCAR saga continued…Chapter 999 Kurt Busch

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that Kurt Busch’s BAC (blood alcohol content) registered at.017% according to the preliminary test at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department command post. That is why there was no Drunk Driving charge as the BAC of .08% is the legal limit for charging with a DUI. He was issued the correct citation of Reckless Driving.
He still should never been behind the wheel. One drop of alcohol is too much. Yes… I am also a die hard proponent of do not drive if you took narcotics for pain or cough syrup for a cold. Don’t swallow your mouthwash and drive either.
Did Roush suspend Busch as a payback for being the brat and pain in the donkey’s butt that he has been? MAYBE. Was he wrong to suspend him? NO WAY.
Kurt Busch is a terrible model of what a champion should be. Cocky, difficult and arrogant to the point of being offensive. Only time will tell what the total consequences to his career will be. I am not talking this ticket either. I am talking attitude and fan following and willingness of sponsors to promote the little jerk. I see the same possible personality issues in Baby Busch.
LOTS of Driver’s have been jerks. But there is always something likable and endearing about them that makes them even more popular after they have been jerks. PERSONALITY.
Maybe Tony Stewart is right….what we need in NASCAR is more

old fashioned men
men that aren’t afraid…more
“FIST FIGHTS”
More men that aren’t afraid to show the emotion they are really feeling. They could be put in a ring after each race to beat the tar out of each other if they didn’t feel vindicated enough yet by bashing someone into a wall or
caving in the back end or side of the car.
No sugar coating.
We could also set up intellectual fights. A nationally televised game of Trivial Pursuit or Jeopardy. Pit the Busch boys against each other to see who has the highest IQ. Who has the most common sense. I would hope Baby Busch has learned something from his brother that will benefit him. I haven’t been too hopeful yet.
Give me Tony Stewart, Robby Gordon and Jimmy Spencer’s temperaments and personality styles any time. Martin Truex Jr. shows great potential too.
My advise?
Be a hot head and don’t be ashamed of it. Own up to being pissed off. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Don’t let any one stop you and pay the consequences that NASCAR lays on you. Just do it at the Track.
Don’t take your frustrations out on a cop.
Keep being good to your fans.
You will always know who loves ya…
I still think Jimmy Spencer should have took him out while he had the chance. **lol**

I lied…I have something else to say to Kurt Busch.

You should have listened to your ‘scope….take your fingers out of your ears…

Here is a little verbal Zoloft and Clonopine for you:

OK. You’re upset. I recognize that. Now stop tearing at your clothes and wailing, and calm down, before someone takes you away for a ‘rest’.

Roush SPANKS Kurt Busch and HARD!! BAD BOY!!

JACK ROUSH YOU ARE MY HERO!!
RIGHT ON!!!
KURT BUSCH IS SUSPENDED FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!!
CROWN ROYAL NOT HAPPY!!
” NOT ACCEPTABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE”

This is all I have to say to Kurt Busch:

NASCAR,Phoenix and the Law…continued…

I am enraged that Kurt Busch drank any alcohol at all and got behind the wheel of a car. One drop of alcohol and the responsibility of the road is one too many. It takes a lot of audacity…Maybe his reflexes are better than the average person on the track, but getting a buzz affects us all the same. It also KILLS innocent people that do not know that their lives are at risk.
Kurt Busch must have taken his Sponsor’s advise and joined the “Society of the Crown”. He should have memorized the tips from Crown Royal in it’s “Responsible Host” area of the Crown Royal Website…or at least been man enough and smart enough to follow the guidelines. Here is my advise to anyone who is a “Host”:
If Kurt Busch is at your home or Bar…
The “Responsible Host” would:
Find a ‘designated driver’ to take him home ( Where was Eva? Maybe she wasn’t there. Where was Baby Busch? He is underage and should have been sober. He is in Phoenix. He could have called his baby brother to drive. )
Ask the guest to spend the night. (not going there… Alien sex is off limits. )
Call a cab and offer to pay the driver. ( Heck no!! Kurt Busch is rich. Let him pay for his own cab.)

Jack Roush said it best at NASCAR.com:
“I don’t plan to take any action myself,” he said. “I’m not looking down the road with Kurt, based on the fact that he has his release and he’ll be doing something else. He’ll be under new management and new oversight next year and I’ll just stand aside and watch and see how that works out for him.”Roush said he had not talked with Busch or any of his representatives and did not know the facts of the incident. Asked how this situation might impact Crown Royal, a distilled Canadian whisky that is Busch’s current sponsor, Roush said, “It would be an issue for Crown Royal, I’m sure, if that proves to be a fact, and going down the road with that relationship.”
“But, happily, I feel we that we can stand aside of it now and say it’s none of my affair.”
In Arizona, Reckless Driving ain’t no little infraction type Traffic Ticket.
It’s a misdemeanor. Arizona is a NO TOLERANCE STATE on a lot of issues. It also has a statute, that prohibits plea bargaining or reducing an alcohol-related offense to a non-alcohol related offense. Did we have a little dealing done here?
It should have been a Drunk Driving and jail like the rest of us po’ folks.

NASCAR in Phoenix: To Do or Not to do?

Do I see a resemblance here? Or is it just the Arizona Energies affecting my brain?

To do or not to do? That is the question for my favorite Alien Kurt Busch. Man that boy needs to be reading his Forecast’s to find out if they are Horror-Scopes or not before he gets in a car or opens his mouth!

Kurt Busch charged with reckless driving

NASCAR champ Kurt Busch cited for reckless driving

DUI suspected
Kurt Busch confronts cops, cited for reckless driving

Too bad he didn’t check out his ‘Scope.
It warned him yesterday.

Oh! My very favorite place in the whole wide world for a race!
I love to go to Phoenix. Actually I love the journey we take on the way to and from Phoenix. We always stop for a few days at Sedona, and then venture into the canyons and “Glyph” our way home. Yup, Yup that’s my idea of Heaven. NASCAR and anthropology and New Age aliens, the one’s that are related to Kurt Busch. What a combination… My own idea of what the “Valley of the Sun” and Paradise is.
Here are my predictions for this week along with a photo or two of the journey…

Jimmy Johnson, born 17 September 1975
Theme: Self confident
This influence usually denotes a brief period of good feelings and generosity toward others. Today during the day you feel that everything is all right, and you have nothing to fear. You express your self-confidence by being above petty irritations. Not easily angered, you tolerate even the most harsh behavior from other people. But you probably won’t have to contend with “harsh behavior,” because the energy of this influence does not arouse it in those around you. You will get what you give kindness, friendship and nurturing support. This influence can also awaken your concern for the deeper aspects of life. You may seek metaphysical and spiritual insights, but with your heart rather than your mind. Rational knowledge is not likely to satisfy you at this time.
Jimmy may have stopped at Sedona before he went on to Phoenix. OMMMM…

Ryan Newman, born 8 December 1977
Theme: Needless conflict
Today you will display a great deal of energy in your dealings with other people. However, the problem lies in how you use that energy, for you may try to dominate others. Or you may encounter others who try to dominate you. Do not be so willful that you actually get in the way of your own intentions. you will only create needless conflict that will bring you nothing. Strive to make even the most trivial encounter a positive learning experience. You should go somewhere where you can also learn something. Sedona is close. Go sit in a Vortex or something.

Greg Biffle, born 23 December 1969
Theme: Potential for the “He’s an Idiot.” Award.
Today you seek excitement and stimulation through your love relationships, even to the point of provoking a fight. The existing patterns of your relationships will become difficult to deal with even if you know that they are basically constructive. Be careful of being impatient with loved ones, demanding that they gratify your need for excitement, unless of course you want to have an argument. On the other hand, this is a good day for getting things out into the open, where the two of you may reach an understanding. If you and your loved one are under no constraints, then you can enjoy many new experiences with each other. In fact, this influence can be a test of the flexibility of your relationship. The less flexible it is, the more disruptive this time will be.
You need to go to Sedona too.

Carl Edwards, born 15 August 1979
Theme: Your actual abilities
During this period you will try to achieve something of significance in your work or career. This can be either good or bad in the long run, depending upon how you go about getting ahead. On the positive side, this influence helps you overcome your previous limitations, which were caused largely by fear and lack of confidence.
Now you feel capable of greater achievements and willing to work for them. This influence usually creates great optimism and self-confidence, but you must be careful that it does not become overconfidence. Your life will not take care of itself if you neglect the important details of daily existence. Do not let your seemingly more important present concerns cause you to neglect these other aspects of your life.
This influence can also signify an inflated ego, a state of mind in which you attribute to yourself powers and talents far beyond your actual abilities. In rare and extreme cases, a person may think of himself as godlike. But for most people this is expressed simply as overestimation of one’s talents. There is so much positive energy in this influence that it would be unfortunate to waste it with pride, foolish arrogance and overestimation of your capabilities. The difficulty with this influence is that it spurs you on to do more than you can handle, to involve yourself in projects that require more energy than you have or to extend yourself beyond your resources. But this same tendency can lift you to attempt and succeed at tasks you would not usually consider possible. You can expect some difficulties with other people under this influence, but you should be able to handle them, unless you proceed from a position of arrogant self- righteousness. You want to be important now, and it is quite possible to attain that goal, but only if you know yourself adequately.
Dare to do more than you have ever done before, but balance your daring with reason and care.

Matt Kenseth, born 10 March 1972
Theme: Stay Grounded

Now you experience a time of balance and equilibrium in your life, when you can be yourself with the fewest obstacles from people or circumstances. Various affairs in your life will hum along very nicely now. You have made new beginnings in these areas and you can tell how your new plan is working out. Today during the day you will have to be quite careful, because you are emotionally excitable and impulsive. You may act disruptively. Stay calm and grounded. FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE CHANGE’S THAT YOU HAVE MADE IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS. THE CHOICES YOU MAKE NOW WILL AFFECT YOU IN THE DISTANT FUTURE.

Mark Martin, born 9 January 1959
Theme: Confrontations
This is a time for making creative changes in your life, for reforming and remolding your immediate surroundings so that they can better express your inner essence. It is a time when you will exert considerable energy in order to gain greater freedom of movement in all your activities. You may have the opportunity to gain power over others, but if so, you should use this power to achieve what you and those around you collectively need. Do not use it for purely selfish purposes, for this is not so likely to work to your advantage.

Jeremy Mayfield, born 27 May 1969
Cheerful and gregarious
This is a good time to go out and socialize, because you feel quite cheerful and gregarious. You radiate warmth and emotion toward other people, so they enjoy being with you. This is a very good time to go to a party, for example. Your relations with loved ones are usually good under this influence, and you may feel quite amorous. Usually this influence is too fleeting to indicate the beginning of a major relationship, but it does help existing ones. This is a favorable time for undertaking any activity connected with beautifying your home and making it more pleasant. It is also a good time to entertain at home. In shopping now, you may spend more money than you originally intended, and if you must stay within a budget, you would be well advised to postpone shopping until later.
Phoenix is a good place to be when this influence is dominant. Lots of culture and shopping. Go to a spa. Take the dogs for a nature walk in the desert. Watch out for snakes tho.

Rusty Wallace, born 14 August 1956
Theme: Counterforces
This is a time of challenge and crisis. Very often this crisis occurs in the form of persons who are working at cross-purposes to your efforts. They may or may not oppose you intentionally, but the thrust of their actions forces you to prove that what you are doing is worthwhile. You may be very angry at these people, feeling that they are motivated by nothing but malice. In fact their motives are the same as yours, which you must learn to understand. Challenges may also occur in connection with your efforts to build something up, to create a material structure or to get a project going. Or they may occur as a test of some new aspect of your personality that has recently come into being.
It’s almost over, buddy. Then you can rest, relax and enjoy. We know you just can hardly wait…

Kurt Busch, born 4 August 1978
Theme: Conflicts and Change
This can be a rather tense time, but it also has the potential for much stimulation. If you have been bottling up pressures from your job, your home, your family or any other sources, they will become very difficult to bear now, especially if you have not been willing to face them in the recent past. Your conscious actions may be impulsive and ill-thought-out today, as your emotions come into conflict with your conscious will. When this happens, you should try to find out whether you have been avoiding a problem that has brought about this situation. Days like this may be annoying, but they do bring hidden tensions out into the open. However, it might not be a bad idea to let the dust settle first. But this time is not necessarily so difficult, depending on how well you have been handling your emotions.

And finally…

Tony Stewart, born 20 May 1971

Now what am I going to do with my Bobby Labonte Lunch pail?

I know! I will put Greg Biffle in it!! Then I will put a big safety pin through the lock and only let him out if he promises to STOP WHINING .
Biffle is a whiner and if he doesn’t get his way he is going to be a tattle-tale.
The Great Scot’ always gets to the bottom of the firepit. He called Doug Richert: “I don’t think he ( Greg ) was pinpointing that it was Hendrick only..”.

Well, of course that isn’t what Greg meant. Greg Biffle would never whine.
He wins my ” Which Driver’s Inner Child would I like to spank the most for being a Brat ” Award of the Week.

Watch out for the upcoming Important Poll of the Week!

Texas Gratitude Nascar Style

Thank all of you for the HUGE prayer responses. It was awesome.

Congrats to Carl AGAIN. I don’t want to say I told you so awhile back when I first started posting the scopes…but?
I just did! **lol**

I was really touched by the Rusty Wallace interview on Dateline tonite. Maybe because I too am spinning…faster and faster towards the big 50 . The big picture of life IS the little things. Balancing family, life and work. He is feeling that sense of ” I need to be more careful. ” He knows life is temporary and we only have NOW, what we have RIGHT THIS MOMENT.
Great Call Rusty.

Way to go. It’s not your Last Call by anymeans…it was a wake-up call…the Call to LIFE.
Rusty is the Champion this year.
Congratulations on your Awakening.

Is NASCAR ready for a gay male Driver?

HEAVEN FORBID!!
Ian O’Connor of Fox Sports has a column out today questioning
“Is sports ready for a gay male athlete?” (yes that is his version of the English language.)
There is also an MSN poll asking the opinion of which Professional Sports (YES, it includes NASCAR!) Athlete will come out of the closet first.

“It will be a great day in sports, in all of America, when that male pioneer steps forward the way Robinson did more than 58 years ago, the way Swoopes did last week. But that day won’t arrive until a gay man can be assured he won’t be ostracize by members of his own organization, never mind opponents and fans.” states O’Connor. “That day won’t arrive until a gay man on the verge of going public believes he won’t be demoted, traded, or fired.” He also goes on to state “”I think it’s the locker room, the organizations, the leaderships and the advertisers. I think most fans would applaud it.”
OKAAAAAY. Maybe fans of GOLF…or tennis…**starting to giggle** but **laughing a little harder** NASCAR FANS?? **now the tears are starting as the laugh starts to become hysterical**

I am an open minded gal… tolerant of just about everything, a defender of all that is Fair and Just and Equal where Human Beings are concerned. I have gay friends and co-workers both men and women. One of my gay co-workers thinks Jamie McMurray is the “Hottest boy on Earth”. He secretly watches every NASCAR 360 show he can lay his eyes on. He keeps a picture of Jamie taped to his computer. He thinks Dale Jr. is “hot” in a “Macho sort of way.”
He will probably never attend a race because that might not be a safe place for him to be. I fully agree. What are the chances of him attending a race and not having even one comment made to him? How many times do you think the word “FAGGOT” preceded by the other “F” word could be said in the “NASCAR Fan’s at the race World” fueled by lots of Bud, Coor’s Light, Jack Daniels and MACHO MEN? Testosterone Heaven. That is an imagined scene I am not laughing about.
Sorry Mr. O’Connor. I have to disagree with your point here.
NASCAR is committed to attaining greater diversity within its organization and throughout the industry with it’s NASCAR Diversity Internship Program. In addition to the NASCAR Diversity Internship Program, the sanctioning body also offers company-wide internship and career opportunities for men and women of all cultural backgrounds.
NASCAR fan’s are becoming more hip each year, and with the rise in NASCAR popularity, that is a good thing. There is a whole world out there that have “GOT IT BAD”, and it ain’t all the “Good ol’Boys.” But you will notice the words (and I emphasize these words)Men and Women of all CULTURAL backgrounds”. I believe that, interpreted into Politically Correct (sort of) language that means: NASCAR accepts and encourages women and and men of all colors, shapes, sizes and religions to learn the business and be employed by NASCAR. My goodness how far NASCAR has come!
NASCAR has taken a lot of steps in the diversity arena. The fans that had or have an issue with it are slowly accepting it. It’s about time.
BUT….no apologies here, just my opinionMost NASCAR Fans are NOT ready for a Driver to be openly Gay. I doubt that a lot of sponsors and owner’s are ready. Think about what happened to Ellen.

To be perfectly honest with you…The mere thought of most NASCAR fans applauding one of their Driver’s coming out of the closet leaves me ROFLMAO.

It also gives me an idea for a new Reality show… NASCAR MAN-FANS!!

2005 National Novel Writing Month

Well, that time is here again. National Novel Writing Month!! Oh BOY!!
YEE HAW!!
Time to get up at 5AM instead of 4:30 and pound my arthritic fingers into swollen, screaming appendages. Time to drink more coffee and beer than any other time of the year. This year I swear I am going to remember that I have a gemstone business and that I still need to run it and send customers what they order and keep my books. I will remember to give the #1 #88 fan some attention on occasion. I will check my email. I will call my children and grandchildren at least once each. I will feed the cat.
I am wishing already that I would have figured out how to run that voice typing program on my fancy schmancy computer. I have once again been foiled by my tendency to procrastinate and disdain of following directions.
I have started at the end instead of the beginning by having a professional photograph taken by my Logitec Webcam for my bio and book jacket. I forgot to clean up the mess behind me, however the Truth is always the best angle to take when one is doing a self portrait. I wanted to do a boudoir portrait, but the #1 #88 fan said my Tony Stewart jammies just didn’t cut it. I threw on my Einstein Mind t-shirt instead.
My fingers are killing me already, so I will cut and paste the rest of the info about the endeavor, plus or minus a few of my own words.

National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30.
Valuing enthusiasm and perseverance over painstaking craft, NaNoWriMo is a novel-writing program for everyone who has thought fleetingly about writing a novel but has been scared away by the time and effort involved.
Because of the limited writing window, the ONLY thing that matters in NaNoWriMo is output. It’s all about quantity, not quality. The kamikaze approach forces you to lower your expectations, take risks, and write on the fly.
Make no mistake: I (You*?) will be writing a lot of crap. And that’s a good thing. By forcing myself (yourself*) to write so intensely, I (you*) am/are giving myself ( yourself*) permission to make mistakes. To forgo the endless tweaking and editing and just create. To build without tearing down.
As I (you*) you spend November writing, I ( you*) can draw comfort from the fact that, all around the world, other National Novel Writing Month participants are going through the same joys and sorrows of producing the Great Frantic Novel. Wrimos meet throughout the month to offer encouragement, commiseration, and — when the thing is done — the kind of raucous celebrations that tend to frighten animals and small children.
In 2004, we had over 42,000 participants. Nearly 6000 of them crossed the 50k finish line by the midnight deadline, entering into the annals of NaNoWriMo superstardom forever. They started the month as auto mechanics, out-of-work actors, and middle school English teachers. They walked away novelists.
So, to recap:

What: Writing one 50,000-word novel from scratch in a month’s time.

Who: Me! You! We can’t do this unless we have some other people trying it as well. Let’s write laughably awful yet lengthy prose together.

Why: The reasons are endless! To actively participate in one of our era’s most enchanting art forms! To write without having to obsess over quality. To be able to make obscure references to passages from your novel at parties. To be able to mock real novelists who dawdle on and on, taking far longer than 30 days to produce their work.

When: Sign-ups began October 1, 2005. Writing begins November 1. To be added to the official list of winners, you must reach the 50,000-word mark by November 30 at midnight. Once your novel has been verified by our web-based team of robotic word counters, the partying begins.

Still confused?
