Remember to be grateful for all the things in your life…
While you are waiting for the goodies to be served so you can stuff yourself sick,
Or you can go look at some of the things I am grateful for here…

Norman Motorsports’s Roger Norman and Larry Roeseler piloted their Trophy Truck to victory early this morning in Baja California Mexico. B.J Baldwin has crossed the finish line, although I am waiting to hear his placement and time.
Robby Gordon and Andy Grider are out there…somewhere near La Salinas according to the tracker if it is correct. That’s not good.
Southern Baja’s Andre Tomba has driven over a cliff…. Report is all is ok, however the weather has hampered getting them out of the mess. Boobie traps abound and I just heard someone was flipped on his lid.
Darn locals. Maybe they think they are doing a bit of creative engineering…hope they don’t kill someone.
Back in a bit.
Baja 100 update from Robby Gordon.com:
Remember you can watch live Baja 1000 tracking here at 2008 SCORE Baja 100.com.
An alternate Live Tracking site ( I keep both open) where you can actually follow Robby and Andy and the truck and see exactly where they are is here… Robby and Andy are driving #77. B.J. Baldwin, in the #97 car, seems to be a bit behind.
One of the best sites to follow the race on is Baja Racing News LIVE!! . With lot of links, andyou can follow him and what’s going on live in the race on his Twitter column on the blog. He also has some links to some web cams that are awesome. He is doing a great job covering the Baja 1000. Great shout’s and kudos to him! For instance it was great to know that Robby got stuck in the mud as it happened. “BAJA RACING NEWS.COM LIVE is from Baja California, Mexico. It features BAJA RACECASTS & NEWS. Claims to be The#1 Internet Source of Baja racing info, online & real-time race results LIVE!”. So far, I agree. It is the #1 spot as far as information.
You can also listen to live race coverage on Internet radio (in English or Spanish) at Mexican Radio.
If any of you also have additional sites that cover the race well, please let me know. You share I will share:)
So…. the clock is ticking!
Robby Gordon his testing trophy truck for Baja 1000 in Parker Az 2008.
Now that the NASCAR Championship is over and we all guessed, I mean, “ I predicted on July 24th “ that Jimmie Johnson would win; we can focus on something exciting…
And unpredictable.
Robby Gordon will once again show us that he is the most versatile and talented driver in NASCAR, by competing in the 41stannual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, one of the most grueling off-road races in the world. We all hope to see Robby and his No. 77 Monster Energy / Toyo Tires Chevy CK 1500, celebrate his fourth victory when the race commences on Friday, November 21st.
The Baja 1000 is the world’s longest non-stop and most famous desert race. It is a test of endurance of mind, body, spirit, and machine. This year’s race, beginning and ending in Ensenada, winds and weaves it’s way across rocky desert landscape and mountain terrain. The grueling loop is a 631.35-mile trek around the northern Baja California peninsula. Here is the map of the entire course.
The race starts tomorrow and runs through Nov. 23rd. The Green flag drops for the car and truck classes at approx. 10:30 am PST. The competitors will have 31 hours to complete the brutal and arduous course.
BFGoodrich Tires and Volkswagen of America is bringing a new first-of-its-kind online experience designed around bringing the captivating sights, sounds and real-time information of the 41stannual SCORE Baja 1000 to everyone. The Web site is now live at http://www.2008scorebaja1000.com/ with a countdown clock. Race tracking will begin at 6 a.m. PT/ 9 a.m. ET on Nov. 21.
Robby Gordon is a phenom when it comes to kickin’ butt and jamming on an off road race. I am also watching Robby’s Team Dakar USA team mate, Ballistic B.J Baldwin, himself a bit of an Off Road Talent. Healthy competition is good amongst buddies. B.J. can learn a lot from Robby.
Not me. It’s Robby Gordon spotlight time.
While you wait for the live coverage to begin, watch Robby give those shocks a jolt, then tell me you wouldn’t want to be there.
Ride along here with the SCORE Internation OFF Road Racing Prerun!
