I am going to explain a little bit about what is going on astrologically for tomorrows race, before I put up the ‘scopes. A little “Astrological Sunday School” lesson, shall we say.

Today’s New Moon enters Leo, and is in effect until July 17. This aspect affects all of us, therefore affecting all the driver’s, despite all other aspects. The Moon, being Void of Course again this weekend is again another signifier of influence.

Generally speaking, the Moon represents the emotional atmosphere, the mood of the people or of a society. With the Moon ingress into a new zodiac sign this mood changes according to the qualities of this sign. Since the Moon only stays in a sign for 2 – 3 days, this collective mood is rather transient.
The position of the Moon in the zodiac is also important for many people who wish to live in accordance with natural cycles. They take into account the position of the Moon for certain tasks around the house and the garden, or for issues of health and bodycare.

With the ingress of the Moon into a sign the ‘Void-of-Course’ phase of the Moon comes to an end. This marks the end of the time of reflection and rest during the Void-of-Course Moon.
Remember how I have told you that with the Moon being Void of Course, anything goes?

When the Moon makes its final aspect with another planet before it enters the next zodiac sign, a phase which we call “Moon void of Course” begins. The aspects used for the calculation of the Void of Course Moon are conjuction, opposition, square, trine and sextile. Aspects to the Moon’s Nodes, Lilith and Chiron are ignored. This phase ends with the ingress of the Moon into the next zodiac sign.

Normally,the time of Void of Course Moon is best used for taking a rest, relaxing, meditating, turning inward, or simply for enjoying oneself. In any case, this is not a good time for important decisions or actions which require a positive outcome. It is a period during which the Moon is Void of Course and adverse to important decisions and activities.

Because the Moon has been Void of Course during so many races so far this year, and will continue to be, is why I am going into a bit more detail. The Mercury Opposition Uranus is in several driver’s ‘scopes today, which has a tendency to create a problem with insertion of feet into mouths. This aspect is in Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick, Dale Jr., Jeff Burton, Matt Kenseth, Kyle Busch and Jeff Gordon’s scope’s.
The Moon goes Void of course today so it doesn’t really matter what any scope says because today is a day where anything can happen to anyone, in the exact manner expected. SO…..I could just make up a bunch of stuff today. In fact I think I will. The made up scope’s will be marked with a triple***.

The last few miles take a half an hour in itself, because of the remoteness, and slow, curvy gravel roads with occasional boulders in the way. It’s not like we are driving hundreds and miles:)) We still have a load of equipment and parts that we need to get up there.

NASCAR in Atlanta ~ The Astro Remake of “Song of the South” again…

I mean NA$CAR.
Atlanta Motor Speedway… Ryan Newman, in the#12 car, after losing his #1 position is relaxed, yet focused at the rear of the line. The Rocketman sits…ready…waiting…knowing he is going to kick some butt today. He’s in good company sitting back there with Dale Jarrett. D.J. is feeling very disappointed today. Ryan knows what his horoscope says for Atlanta, and affirms to himself:

Ryan thinks about Carl Edwards ‘scope which is also pretty good, tho not as good as his own.

Tony is heard singing, on his own Directv channel:

Ryan snicker’s as he passes him, seeing some frustration suddenly all over Tony’s face.

Tony remembers “Wait!!” “I can control my temper!” “I am in love!!” “It doesn’t matter if the Alien’s stole my happy pills today!”

Meanwhile, the Alien’s, disguised as the Busch Brother’s, are both feeling very intense, tho in different ways. Kurt’s awareness of his personal relationships are overcoming his drive to win. He may not be giving his all out of loyalty, but is tiring of this, and quickly. His little brother has handled himself like a gentlemen lately but that may come to an end today. Although the crowd may not realize there is tension between the Brothers Busch, the stars show that there are. “Hmmm…” Kurt thinks to himself.  “I might have to kick his little rear end pretty soon.”

  Matt Kenseth might be feeling like Eeyore today. Hope I am wrong there.

Halfway through the race, Jeff Gordon is driving his heart out. He is struggling internally with his love of racing, and the awareness of Life itself. He is thinking he needs to be more careful. He has a child coming. He loves his wife. He wants to be with them for as long as he can. He is “Aware” and thinking of his own mortality now. He no longer feels that he can be reckless in anyway.

Dale Jr. is dealing with a lot of intense feeling both on and off the track, in every area of his life. He may feel a need to retreat and be by himself this evening.

Robby Gordon also is feeling a lot of intense feelings. Some triumphant, some satisfaction and is very happy to have a sponsor on the hood of his car. He is still in the astrological place where his own anger can get in his way right now. He is truly trying to work out his own inner issues. He truly has the total benefit of all in mind. This is also a time where no matter what Robby does, it will attract communication and attention from every conceivable corner of his life. In the long run, it will pay off. That is all that matters. Oh yeah…the other thing that matters is he will have the Motorola Logo on his car. Period.

Jeff Burton after all the excitement of winning the Busch race agin this week, may suffer from an adrenaline crash today. Not a literal crash, but an emotional one.

David Stremme is feeling very good about himself today. He is confident and knows something exciting is happening to him. Look to see him a whole lot more in the future. Big things are coming…

Towards the end of the race it all come down to luck, skill and oddity. Today is also a NEW Moon, on the day of a Solar Eclipse. With this also affecting all the aspects, who knows what could happen. We know it will be fast. We know who’s going to be singing. There will be some surprises.

I don’t know if wearing my Tony jammies like I usually do on race day will help or not. I know I am wearing my Ryan’s Lucky Stars Hat” I think I will wear my cute little pink and black Ryan shirt too. Might as well stay comfy, and wear my black wide legged, cropped sweatpants too. I can feel cute and stylish.

Nope. Can’t do it. Just thinking about it makes me feel like a Traitor. I am wearing my orange and black Tony jammie bottoms with my Ryan hat and shirt. Or layer the Ryan shirt over a Tony shirt over a Robby shirt. Or vice versa. I am wearing the hat tho.

O.K.

Maybe I won’t look as cute as I want, but I will be rooting for my Driver’s.

**By the way, NEXTEL/SPRINT? The attempt to remove the Motorola Logo on Robby’s car does not exactly make me want to run out and subscribe to your services.

NA$CAR? Are your attempts to gain more and more money in your own deals and contracts, going to screw your driver’s out of getting sponsor’s, which would screw you out of money by losing teams? Please. Let’s just get back to racin’. Pretty Please?

Ryan looks better than usual as I posted yesterday.  I look for Jimmie to win by a mile. and Ryan to get a top ten along with Tony if Tony keeps his head. He needs to learn to spread some love energy to this track. Then the track might be nicer to him.

Robby Gordon – Andy Grider -Dakar Astro-Forecast stage 11

You know the saying “I’m out in Timbuktu?” Well…Robby and Andy are where Timbuktu is. Mali.

The Dakar Rally big wig boss’s decided to cancel the two Néma-Timbuktu and Timbuktu-Néma stages, scheduled for the today and tomorrow, after the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised against running the 10th and 11th stages.

In spite of the extensive surveillance and the guarantees provided by the Mali authorities, this precautionary measure is vital in safeguarding the security of the competitors.

After the sporting teams of the rally considered an alternative solution, a loop stage from Néma to Néma, including a timed sector of 376 kilometres, which is what was run today. Tomorrow, the competitors will enjoy half a rest day, and will then take to the road for a liaison stage of approximately 280 km towards Ayoun-el-Atrous in Mauritania, from where the next start of the rally will start on 18 January, heading for Kayes in Mali.

behind the leader.

Stage Five Report: Ouarzazate – Tan tan
While Carlos Sainz won the fifth stage of the 2007 Dakar, much of the buzz in the bivouac surrounded the impressive performance of American Robby Gordon and his Monster Hummer. Team Dakar USA was relegated to a 77th place start based on their finish in the previous stage. Gordon charged his black Monster Energy Hummer to a 15th place finish in the stage which moved him up to 36th in the overall classification. The finish was the best for the day in the Open Category.

Robby Gordon’s Quote after Stage Five
“The tires that Toyo brought to Dakar have been spectacular and it really showed today in the very rocky track. We passed quite a few cars today by leaving the track and we punished the tires and they survived extremely well. Our finish today will get us a much better start tomorrow so we are looking at getting the Hummer closer to the front so we can contend for stage wins. Much has happened so far but you have to realize that this race is just five days old and there is a lot of racing left. Our team is working hard and since we solved our fuel problem the Hummer is running exceptionally well. We are going to push hard and make something happen!”

The ‘scope’s for stage 6 look like this: Freaking GOOD!!!

Robby’s Moon moved in his 7th House today and is in effect until Jan. 14th.
During this time you turn your attention to your most personal relationships, in which you express yourself in a much more emotional manner than usual. This influence will affect a marriage, relationships with opponents, or any other inherently emotional confrontation. Loved ones and partners are much more important to you than usual, for they provide you with a feeling of security and support.
